What We Do
 

The KB Tenacious Emergency Intelligence & Logistics Foundation provides real-time disaster intelligence, community support, and on-the-ground assistance to rural and at-risk areas throughout Lewis County and surrounding regions. Our work focuses on filling information gaps, supporting families in crisis, and helping emergency responders act faster and more effectively.

We operate in:

1. Disaster Reconnaissance & Field Intelligence

​

We gather accurate, real-time information during storms, floods, and other emergencies, focusing on rural areas where delays or blind spots are common. Our recon teams provide:

• Road and access-route condition checks

• Flood-level monitoring and early impact assessments

• Downed power line observations (from a safe distance)

• Storm damage documentation

• Photos, GPS-tagged information, and rapid reporting

• Safe-route mapping for volunteers and responders
   

Our goal is simple: give emergency managers the information they need before situations escalate.

2. Community Support & Welfare Check Services
 

Many rural residents face isolation during emergencies. We help bridge that gap by conducting:

• Welfare check-in calls

• Remote communication with vulnerable or isolated residents

• Doorstep safety checks when conditions allow

• Resource and needs assessments for families affected by storms, outages, or evacuations

• Delivery of basic non-medical aid, supplies, or information

• Emergency Supply Distribution
   

We focus on practical, human support, the small things that often make the biggest difference during a crisis.

3. Missing-Persons Intelligence Support
 

We are not law enforcement or a search team. Instead, we provide critical intel and family support, including:

• Establishing timelines and last-known-location information

• Conducting interviews with friends, neighbors, or potential witnesses

• Reviewing publicly accessible digital and social media activity

• Building organized intel packets for law enforcement and SAR

• Serving as a liaison to help families understand the process

• Helping filter tips and relevant information
   

This service is volunteer- and capacity-based, focused on clarity, compassion, and coordination.

4. Lay-Responder Stabilization
 

When our team arrives before EMS or fire services, we provide basic, non-advanced emergency care, including:

• CPR (if trained and certified)

• Basic first aid

• Stop the Bleed protocols

• Scene safety and hazard awareness

• Providing comfort and communication

• Relaying accurate information to dispatch
   

We do not perform medical procedures beyond training. Our priority is keeping people safe, calm, and stable until official responders arrive.

5. Family Assistance & Disaster Documentation
 

After floods, severe storms, or other disasters, many families feel overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. We help by:

• Documenting property damage for insurance or aid applications

• Creating organized, time-stamped photo reports

• Helping families build statements, timelines, and claim packets

• Providing fraud-prevention advice and contractor vetting

• Offering guidance on navigating FEMA or state aid processes

• Free Disaster-Relief Notary Services for residents affected by floods, storms, or displacement, we provide free notarization for essential documents such as affidavits of loss, insurance statements, identity confirmations, and emergency financial paperwork. 

This is one of our most valued services, especially for lower-income or rural households.

6. Logistics, Volunteer Support & Transport (Non-medical)

 

During emergencies, we assist with safe, non-emergency movements of people and resources:

• Transporting CERT volunteers or support personnel

• Delivering equipment, supplies, or information

• Setting up rest areas or support stations

• Non-medical evacuation assistance in low-risk situations
   

We do not transport patients or perform rescue operations, but we can move the people who support the responders.
